Akito's Weapons

Weapon Name: Shashu

Weapon Type: Sword

Materials Used: Steel

Appearance: Shashu is long and straight. The handle is black, as is the hand guard. The handguard is a cross-guard and spirals upwards. Shashu is about 4 ft long, with a 3 ft long blade and a 10 inch long handle. It is a longsword, and weighs around 4 lbs.

Weight & Speed: Shashu is well-balanced, weighing around 4 pounds. It can be used quickly and efficiently.

How it is Holstered: Akito will either wear it strapped to his belt or he will carry it on his shoulder.

Weapon Techniques: Akito doesn’t have many specific techniques for Shashu, but he will fight with it like it is an extension of his arm. He fights with grace and speed.

Weapon Name: Bat Blade

Weapon Type: Sword

Materials Used: Steel

Appearance: Akito owns another sword, this sword he calls “Bat Blade”, usually referring to it as “My Bat Blade” though. The sword is about 8 ft long, with a 2 ft long handle and a 6 ft long blade. The handle is 1 inch in diameter. The blade is flat and wide, about 1 ft wide. The tip is curved, and there is a round hole near the end of the sword to give it the ability to move easily (the hole allows wind to pass through it easier. This also allows it to be used and move faster.) Near the hand guard the blade has a dip in it. The handle is black with a few gold bulges. It looks like this.

Weight & Speed: Bat Blade is heavy, weighing around 50 lbs. It is mainly a power weapon, but it’s shape and a few details in it’s blade allow it to be used with average speed, instead of slow speed.

How it is Holstered: Akito keeps his Bat Blade on his ship.

Weapon Techniques: Akito doesn’t use his Bat Blade much due to it’s size and weight. It is a crushing weapon, but can be used gracefully. He can also use it as an anchor for flips.

Please include how long Shashu is please.

Another thing you should add is exactly what type of sword Sashu is. A European rapier, a Japanese katana, etc.? Keep in mind that despite some augmentation, a one hundred pound sword still requires quite a bit of strength and energy to swing and normal speed. From an In Character standpoint it could be very tiring.

New technique for Bat Blade: Earth Split - Akito goes into his Human Bat form and uses his superior legs to jump high into the air. He hold his Bat Blade with two hands, and raises it above his head. Then he goes into his blood form and sends his blood into his arms and hands. He then slams Bat Blade down towards the ground with an attack that could cut steel and shatter stone. If the attack misses then the impact on the ground will send a wide, deep crevice towards Akito's enemy.

The heavy weight of his Bat Blade, the speed he attacks with, and the amount of power he gathers and releases in such a short amount of time puts great stress on Akito's limbs and muscles, and if he does it too much then his muscles can tear.
