Personality: Akito may seem intimidating when you first meet him with his steel-colored eyes and inhumanly white hair. The sword hanging from his belt without a sheath doesn’t really help in this case. But once you get to know him you will find that he is a real sweetheart. For starters he loves small animals and cute things. He is very classy, as well as a gentleman. He treats woman with grace and elegance, but not to the major extent as, say, Sanji.
Akito is quite shy, as well as a little sensitive. He won’t talk to strangers very much, and he will cry at very sad moments. This, combined with his love of ice cream, gives him an air of a little kid, despite him being 18.
Oh yes, and Akito loves to sleep. At night he’ll take care to get undressed, brush his teeth, etc. But in the day time he will just fall asleep in his clothes, usually in his bed, but sometimes in other places, some of which can be very odd, like, for instance, a tree. When he is asleep he usually curls up into a loose ball. He normally sleeps on his side. Oh yes, and another thing is that when he sleeps, he will keep Shashu with him because he is so protective of it.
Akito is very protective of his friends, and will do almost anything to protect them (almost meaning as-long-as-it-doesn’t-involve-destroying-the-world.) He is also very honest and patient, willing to wait for days if he needs to. In other words, he’s pretty mellow and low-maintenance.
I didn’t say “completely mellow and low-maintenance”. He has a harsh, wild side to him, though this doesn’t show up as much. It’s not like a split personality or anything, more like a side to him that not many people get the chance to see. This side is also a little insane, due to his past.

Appearance:
Akito is a tall, slender young man with well-toned muscles. His skin is incredibly pale, his eyes a light gray, and his hair white. These colors make him look almost ghost-like. His hair is, as I said in the previous sentence, white and is short, with parts that stick out a bit. He has a long, bat-like face with long ears, and a small nose.
Akito wears mainly black and white, and prefers to wear button-up shirts to other shirts. His personal clothing of choice is a white long-sleeved button-up shirt; with black jeans; a black belt; and no shoes. He owns a sword, crafted by himself, which is long and straight. He either wears it strapped to his belt or he will carry it on his shoulder, usually the first one though.

Biography: Akito was born on Baterilla, an island located in the South Blue. Even as a baby he has strikingly gray eyes and white hair. He was born as the son of Hakumari Davious and Hakumari Alumani. Born in the South Blue, he grew up knowing about the Kingdom of Bliss. But like many others, he didn’t know where it was located. That’s when he decided then and there, at the age of 5, that he was going to find the Kingdom of Bliss.
Because of this, Akito spent most of his childhood studying and reading about the Kingdom of Bliss. He became very mature at a young age, acting adult-like and proper. That’s when the “Jigsaw Pirates” invaded his hometown, Shakirus. Vicious, they pillaged and plundered everything there was in the village and killed Akito’s parents, as well as his soon-to-be younger sibling. Akito managed to escape the Jigsaw Pirates, and they soon left Baterilla.
Because of the attack from the Jigsaw Pirates Akito grew to be quieter, and nobody could really understand why. His Uncle and Aunt had moved out of the house they had shared with his parents, not bothering to help him. Nobody was really nice to him, or mean. They just sort of… ignored him.
When Akito was 8 he found a journal of his late Grandfather in his house. As Akito flipped through it, one entry stood out in particular; While it was hard to read, some of the words being blotted out or smudged, etc. Akito could make out most of it:

The rest was ineligible, having disappeared with the threads of time.
But the rest of the journal intrigued Akito. Supposeably, from what he could make of it, if you could solve the mysteries of the world: Raftel, the True History, The All Blue, etc then you could find… something. It was something big though, from what Akito could tell. It was then that Akito decided to find this. There was no way he could read the True History, so maybe that one could be obtained by some other means. He had heard that Nico Robin had disappeared along with the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates, but maybe there was someone else out there who could help him. The Kingdom of Bliss was something he was already searching for, so that worked out. The All Blue… many, many people were searching that out, but it wouldn’t be fun using someone else. Maybe he could find the All Blue. Raftel… the last island in the Grand Line. This could be tricky, but maybe he could join some sort of Pirate Crew that was headed down the Grand Line.
It was decided. Akito was going to try and solve the mystery his Grandfather had been apparently trying so hard to solve. Akito lived in the darkness of his house, the shutters and doors closed, studying and reading about these four legends. In the darkness, he lost his mind a little, and was never able to fully recover.
At age 15 Akito left Baterilla with a bit more info on Raftel, the All Blue, the True History, and the Kingdom of Bliss. Now was the time to go out and find these things. Akito purchased a dingy from a shipbuilder, which he named “Mello”, and left on it.
Akito traveled through different islands, asking people about each of the legends (minus the true history). Each time he would leave with no more information then what he already had. Because of his position in the South Blue, he could have easily searched it out, but instead he decided to get more information on it. He left the South Blue to travel the different seas. And the first one he entered was the East Blue.
In the East Blue, Akito stopped at a few islands, leaving quickly each time. One exception was an island called Syrup Island. There was a sword smith there who took to Akito, who was 16 at this time. The sword smith took Akito in for a bit, and taught him how to forge swords, something that Akito requested the sword smith teach him.
Akito was a natural at forging swords, and was amazing at it. He forged incredible swords for his age. Akito forged his own sword, Shashu, which he kept with him always. It was when Akito was 17 that he began crafted what he said would be his trump card.
Akito stayed on the island until he was 18 years old. It was then when his “trump card” was completed. It was a huge sword, 8 ft in length, with an abnormally large blade. Akito had crafted it in a way that it would be easy to use for him, but hard to face. It was heavy though, and very big. Akito would use it only when he needed to.
And so, Akito left Syrup Island, and set sale for the seas. He repeated what he normally did, stopping on islands and asking for information. Once or Twice did he mention the True History. He got no information with that. His last stop was Lougetown, where he currently is.
Fighting Style: Akito fights with hand-to-hand combat, as well as with his sword Shashu. Rarely will he fight with his cherished “Bat Blade”, but in times of absolute need he will (The reason he doesn’t use it very often is because it’s so big and heavy).

Sukuinushi raced through the forest on quick, small feet. This was his specialty. He sprinted around trees, rocks, and fallen branches, only stumbling once or twice. In these forests, anyone could trip and fall. Luckily, Sukuinushi had always been quick and graceful, and sprinting was one of his specialties.
Up ahead, Sukuinushi could hear people talking. Better go around... He thought. He stopped sprinting, and started doing the human equivalent of galloping - Running with long, graceful steps. As he neared the edge of the forest, he spun to the right so that he was behind a tree. He peered his head around, and saw some soldiers, a Konoha ninja, and an Akatsuki... Wait a second...
He stepped out from behind the tree, holding the second packet Zanza had given him. He was lucky to not have lost it on the way here. He looked at the Akatsuki. Then he flipped to a page in the packet, stopping what seemed to be the right one with his thumb. On the page, there was a picture of a white-haired... or was it blonde, shinobi. "Talk about good luck!" Sukuinushi grinned, but then it slid off his face. "But, greeeat! A Konoha ninja." He frowned, and ran his hand through his messy hair. "This could be trouble."
Taking a chance, Sukuinushi grabbed a Kunai knife in his right hand, for good measure, and stepped out into the open. He took a few steps, cautious steps, up to the Akatsuki. "Amiya?" He interrupted, shyly.
