Appearance: Long, black, greasy hair that cuts off once it reaches his eyes and the front and swoops down in the back to midway down his neck. Light green eyes. Tan pants that are torn at the knee with thin leather boots. He wears a black belt at his waist where two seperate sheaths hang. A loose-fitting blue shirt that cuts off at the elbows, but he keeps the sleeves rolled up to his shoulders. He never tucks in his shirt and instead it hangs down to where it meets the sheaths of his weapons. He has a scar on his left forearm from an incident when he tried to juggle his and his brother's cutlass. He has large eyes and a small, well rounded nose. His head is very shapely as if actually chiseled by a sculptor. He has a widow's peak, but it can't normally be seen unless his hair shifts. He has very white, straight teeth with pink, thin lips. Only the base of his ears can be seen beneath his hair. He has black, eyebrows, but they are not very large or noticeable. His muscles are hard and chiseled, but are nowhere near able to be considered large.

Biography:
He hasn't been content with his life ever since he was born on Shell Island.. His mother died giving birth to him and his father disappeared. Ever since he was born he has lived with his older cousin, being trained to be a marine. His cousin trained him to use all kinds of weapons, but he only became adept at the the cutlass, reinforced with seastone, which he attempted to juggle once and now has the scar on his left forearm to prove it. As he grew older, his cousin could see he wasn't content with this life of becoming a Marine.

When he was young and had already begun his Marine training, he would pretend to be a pirate by scavenging around his house for his own "treasures". He would always hide something in his parents' old bedroom, the one that they used before they left in their very different ways. He was searching hurriedly around the room to find his treasure when his leg caught in a crevice in the floor, pulling up a board of wood to reveal a wooden box. Being a curious child, he took the box out and replaced the board before rushing it back to his room to see what is within.

The box opened to reveal a golden amulet with a heart shaped sapphire, tears rushed into William's eyes at the sight of it. This was his father's amulet that he never let out of his sight because it resembled his "Love For The Blue" and that's what he always called it. He pulled out the amulet and hung it from his neck by a string that was already attached to it. That's when he noticed something else in the box that looked kind of like a large orb carried by a wooden temple with a strange device inside of it. The whole thing could just about fit in his hand.

He lifts the strange device out of the box and stares at it, wondering about what it was. He walked around with the orb and watched as the needle within it kept its focus on only one target. He stared towards the blank wall it pointed to and wondered where it was telling him to go to. It wasn't pointing north so maybe this compass had a different use.

By the age of eleven, William began joining fishermen on their fishing expeditions and got his taste for fish and fishing with them. He would listen to their tales of piracy and danger, many of them being retired pirates who never made a big name for themselves as pirates, and a desire to become one of their stories sparked within him. His only desire from the age of thirteen is to train and listen to the fishermen's tales to learn how to become a great pirate. As he schemes to become a great pirate captain, he realizes that jumping from a Marine In-Training to Pirate Captain may be a difficult trek and decides to start simple and use his skills with the blade to become a swordsman for a powerful pirate crew, but he still holds tight to his aspiration of one day piloting his very own ship.

He now keeps a bag under his bed full of things that he'd bring with him if he were to leave Shell Island. The bag holds his orb with the floating needle, which is still set to the same direction, a bottle of wine, and a small supply of coins. He continues to plan a way off the island, but the only sure to work way he can see is to steal a boat and make a break for it. He wants to get hold of one of the larger boats, rather than a small one though. so, he waits and schemes until the time is perfect for his pirate life to begin.

Fighting style: Fights in close quarters, but tries to utilize the most effective method of fighting.

Please include your older cousin's name. That's all I see wrong...I don't like the fact that he's a Captain. Right now we have to many considering the amount of members we have. Perhaps later I will allow it, but now I will not. Please consider revising your character's position and possibly their characteristics to fit it.

'Tis good. I do not like to contradict Maxwell, but all Captain's can not be as powerful as you and me. I would approve it if he were a Captain. Therefore, I approve it now.
