Appearance: Wears a black dress shirt along with a blood red tie, black dress pants, a pair of leather shoes and a leather belt. His shirt is never tucked in, the tie is usually loose, and the top button of his shirt is never buttoned. Has jet black hair that is long and goes past his shoulders, almost to his mid-back. Can usually be found smoking from his ivory pipe or enjoying a glass of whine. Has three silver hoops lined next to each other piercing his left eyebrow. Biography:
-Being born in Loguetown, things were not easy for a family of two boys and a single mother. By the age of seven Maxwell understood the suffering his mother is going through by choosing to nurse him and his brother and decided to take a job running errands for the local crime syndicate. He knew that if e were to simply hand the money to his mother or if he were to spend it his mother would know what was going on and put a stop to it, so Maxwell decided to store his money in a empty coffin at the graveyard nearby. Years went by and as Maxwell continued to save his money in order to show his gratitude to his mother.

Unfortunately his times of committing increasingly dangerous crimes had caught up with him. His boss's rivals had tracked down Maxwell and found where he lived. It was on a breezy evening for Maxwell. He had just finished another job and while whipping the blood off his hands and clothes, the wind had caught the smell of a fire. The winds came from the direction of his house and he knew exactly what had happened, yet he hopped he was wrong.

Rushing towards the site of the burning by following the smell, sight, and chaos, he eventually found his way to find his apartment complex on fire. The entrance seemed to be blocked by unnatural means. A flaming body had thrown itself out of the fourth floor in order not to escape, but to save the life of a child. The baby had turned out to be that of his brother's and the body carrying it was charred beyond recognition before it had even leaped out of the window.

Maxwell decided to leave his brother in the care of the local orphanage. He soon took the money he had saved up for his mother and finally decided to leave Loguetown via trade ship. From there he made a living as a pirate on the seas, easily rising up the ranks for his ruthlessness and detachment when killing. At night, the screaming and banging on the other side of the door still haunts Maxwell. Then again, memories like that would haunt any thirteen year old.
